Having been assured by the word of God, concerning the Truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and God's purpose in grace, we do set forth those things most surely believed among us. This we do to the honor and glory of our great God and His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to the salvation of His people and the spiritual growth of believers in grace and sound doctrine.

It gives me great pleasure to introduce you to South Main Street Baptist Church. We count it a great joy, blessing, and privilege here to share the glorious Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ which He has committed to our trust. It is our desire and prayer to be faithful to the declare of the whole counsel of God, the truth as it is in Jesus Christ.

We strive to be a Christ centered church whose focus is:

• To Glorify and honor Christ

• Edify the church that it may be established in the faith

• And the salvation of sinners

Our confession is it is God who works in us both to will and to do his good pleasure to accomplish this.
